Know these things

I am presenting it which is a part (India’s Contributions to Chinese Mathematics
Through the Eighth Century C.E.∗
R. C. Gupta1
R-20, Ras Bahar Colony, P. O. Lahar Gird, Jhansi, UP 284003, India) from  a good book "Ancient Indian Leaps into Mathematics"

The rock edicts of King A´soka (third century b.c.e.) show that he had already
paved the way for the expansion of Buddhism outside India. Subsequently,
Buddhist missionaries took Buddhism to Central Asia, China, Korea, Japan,
and Tibet in the north, and to Burma, Ceylon, Thailand, Cambodia, and
other countries of the south. This helped in spreading Indian culture to
these countries. It is aptly observed that “Buddhism was, in fact, a spring
wind blowing from one end of the garden of Asia to the other end causing
to bloom not only the lotus of India, but the rose of Persia, the temple
flower of Ceylon, the zebina of Tibet, the chrysanthemum of China and the
cherry of Japan. It is also said that Asian culture is, as a whole, Buddhist
culture.” Moreover, some of these countries received with Buddhism
not only their religion but practically the whole of their civilization and
culture.
The generally accepted view is that China received Buddhism from the
nomadic tribes of Eastern Turkestan toward the end of the first century
b.c.e., although there is evidence to show that Indians had gone there earlier
to propagate the faith.4 The Chinese tradition narrates that the Han
emperor, Ming-Ti (first century c.e.), had sent an embassy to India to bring back Buddhist priests and scriptures.5 Consequently, two Indian monks,
Kia-yehMo-than (Ka¯´syapaMa¯tan˙ ga) and Chu-fa-lan (probably Dharmaratna
or Gobharana), reached the Han capital, Loyang. They learned Chinese and
translated Buddhist books, the first of which was Foshuo-ssu-shih-erh-chengching
(the S¯utra of 42 Sections Spoken by Buddha).6 With the arrival of more
monks, both from India and Central Asia, the Loyang monastery became a
centre of Indian culture. A large number of Indian books were translated,
and people began to adopt Buddhist monastic rituals. Buddhism prevailed so
extensively that by the sixth century, the number of monasteries had rise to
about 30,000, and the number of monks and nuns to two million.7
The tradition of the Buddhist educational system gave birth to largescale
monastic universities. Some of these famous universities were  N¯aland¯a, Valabh¯i, Vikram´sil¯a, Jagaddala, and Odantapur¯i. They attracted students
and scholars from all parts of Asia. Of these, the N¯aland¯a university was
most famous, with about ten thousand students and fifteen hundred teachers.
The range of studies covered both sacred and secular subjects of Buddhist as
well as Brahminical learning. The monks eagerly studied, besides Buddhist
works (including Abhidharma-ko´sa), the Vedas, medicine, arithmetic, occult
sciences, and other popular subjects.8 There was special provision for the study of astronomy, and it is said that the university included an astronomicalobservatory.9

According to the findings of a modern Chinese historian (Liang Chi-Chao),
more than 160 Chinese pilgrims and scholars came to India between the fifth
and eighth centuries.10 Of these, Fa-Hien (fifth century), Yuan Chwang (seventh
century), and I-tsing (eighth century) are the most famous. Some of them
stayed and studied in India for several years. They returned to their homeland
with many Pali and Sanskrit works, hundreds of which were translated into
Chinese.

Making Self Sustainable Technologies..... Indians Knowledge... etc

Know The Truth:

Now most of intelligent people trying to produce energy from waste, biomass, bio waste blaa blaa blaa……. Interesting these are intelligent people….. Yes.. these are very prominent Environmentalists  in the world, am  I clear to you? These are intelligent not intellectuals.

Why it is so? How can I tell like this?

From ages of known times our Indians making and using (Cow) dung cakes as fuel…… as fuel for cooking  and protecting form cold (in north India especially).

Can you guess what I am going to tell about?

In those days, these educated, well cultured (self boasting) ******s told that Indians are using dung for cooking food …. OHH God so back cultured so bad sanitation etc……
But now these #######s made some incinerators which are used to produce energy even from Mans dung…… (for reference:  According to actual operating data collected by the US WTE industry, on an average, combusting 1 metric ton of MSW in a modern WTE power plant generates a net of 600 kWh of electricity, thus avoiding mining a 1/4 ton of high quality US coal or importing one barrel of oil. WTE is the only alternative to landfilling of non-recyclable wastes, where the decomposing trash generates carbon dioxide and methane, potent GHGs, at least 25% of which escapes to the atmosphere even in the modern sanitary landfills that are pro-vided with a gas collection network and biogas utilization engines or turbines.)

See the confidence (making కరి మ్రింగిన వెలగపండు ) in telling only the Alternative.

Vahhhh they can make the most intellectual people as fools …. Such an inteligency……

I am Clear that Britishers (British East Indian company) collapsed our self sustainable social, cultural and economical life style , Heritage by creating or imparting force belief that we are inferior……( we know the cruel reports of British East Indian company persons; Reports on How to concur India, the only way is to make them believe that their culture, heritage and education system is inferior and the system which these @@@@@@s going to donate (false) is best) but after 300 years they are just showing what we were 300 years before and also they tell that it is their self experience in self sustainable or green technology……

Please friends know the strength of our culture, heritage is for self sustainable life as well as self sustainable Environment….. Don’t fall in the traps of bad cultured &&&&&&s.

Organic Farming, Ayurvedam, Yoga, Cow dung cakes, Neem products, Tulasi products, turmeric, Vedic Maths …… so many are our Our INDIANs property but others trying to get patents even somebody got on some things which really belong to us….

The power of practice

Every body  do the practice of their own likes to strengthen them. frequently i hear the quotation "Practice makes men perfect" yes it is right proved by numerous people. It is told in Srimad Bhagavad-Gita that with continuous and dedicated practice of their own duties, one can get the omnipotent called Moksha in Indian spirituality. i saw some people who overcome their miseries with this great power of practice.

one can't get the taste of sugar with prolonged explanation until they get taste by their own tongue. hope every body will get a feel of this enormous power of practice.

Indians introduced activated carbon filtration

It was mentioned that ancient Indians used activated carbon for water purification. they prepared activated charcoal from coconut shells, tamarind shells etc. Recently it was re-searched that activated charcoal from tamarind shells was used for removal of fluoride and +6 chromium. I hope it was already known to our great ancient Indians.
